Back to School Giveaway!

On August 8th, a back-to-school giveaway event was held at Robinson Park in Pasadena, California. Neighborhood Servants was the charity host for this event and was accompanied by several local charities and businesses in the community, as well as the Sydney Paige Foundation. The local organizations set up booths around the park where the local residents were given basic supplies and any services that would assist their children in the back-to-school process. The Sydney Paige Foundation provided backpacks, school supplies, and books that were provided by Toys for Tots, to the children of the local families. Nearly 2,000 backpacks were distributed and 35,000 books were gifted to these children!

The 35,000 books included an assortment of over 90 different book titles that were displayed by age group across several tables. The children came through to choose their new backpack and stuff it full of books of their choice! It was a successful event thanks to the many local organizations and volunteers that lent a helping hand!
